MyCartoonStar is a subscription service that parents use to create personalized learning videos, songs, stories and keepsakes for their children. Accounts are created and managed by parents and legal guardians only — children never create accounts, enter information, or make purchases.

We collect only what the service needs to run:

• ✓From you (the parent): your name, email address, login credentials, and payment information (processed by our payment provider — we never see or store full card numbers)
• ✓About your child: their first name (and optionally a phonetic spelling so Binky pronounces it correctly), and — only if you choose the photo-based adventure products — one photograph used to create their cartoon character
• ✓Content we generate for you: the personalized videos, songs, storybooks and cartoon character art created for your account

We do not collect a child's birthdate, location, school, contact information, or any other personal details. We never collect information directly from a child.

Because this matters most to parents, here is precisely what happens when you upload a photo:

• ✓Your child's photo is used once, to generate stylized cartoon character artwork (their “costumes”) via AI image-generation services
• ✓After the cartoon characters are generated, the original photograph is permanently deleted from our systems
• ✓The cartoon character images are retained in your account so your child appears consistently across their adventures — they are stylized artwork, not photographs
• ✓We do not use facial-recognition technology. We do not create, compute, or store any face-geometry template, biometric identifier, or facial embedding — of your child or anyone else. Nothing we retain can be used to identify your child
• ✓You may delete your child's cartoon characters (and everything generated from them) at any time from your account, or by emailing us

MyCartoonStar is designed so that a parent is in control at every step:

• ✓Only adults may create accounts, and every account requires a payment-card transaction before any child information beyond a first name is collected — a recognized method of verifying that the person providing consent is an adult
• ✓By creating an account and uploading a photo, you (the parent or legal guardian) consent to our collection and use of your child's information exactly as described in this statement, and for no other purpose
• ✓You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the content, the character, or the account

At any time, you can:

• ✓Review everything we hold about your child (their name, their cartoon characters, and the content generated for them — all of it is visible in your dashboard)
• ✓Delete any individual creation, any character, or your entire account and all associated data
• ✓Refuse any further collection or use of your child's information
• ✓Request a complete deletion in writing at support@mycartoonstar.com — we will verify that you are the account holder and complete the deletion within 30 days

• ✓Original child photos: deleted immediately after character generation completes — typically within minutes of upload. We do not archive or back up original photos
• ✓Generated content (videos, songs, character art, books): retained while your account is active, so your family's library is always available
• ✓On account deletion or written request: all content and personal information deleted within 30 days
• ✓Account and billing records: retained as required for tax and accounting law, then deleted

We retain personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for. We do not keep data “just in case.”

• ✓All content created for your child is accessible only to your account
• ✓No public profiles, feeds, comments, or community sharing features exist anywhere on the platform
• ✓We never publish, share, or distribute customer content, and never use real customer children in marketing — any child imagery in our ads and demos is AI-generated or licensed
• ✓Binky TV, the children's player, is a closed, PIN-protected environment with no advertising, no external links, and no purchases

We advertise to parents, never to children. Being precise about what that means:

• ✓Our parent-facing marketing pages (homepage, pricing, and similar) use standard advertising measurement pixels from Meta, Pinterest, TikTok and Google to measure whether our ads to parents work and to reach parents who visited our site
• ✓These pixels do not load on Binky TV (the child-directed player) or on this privacy page
• ✓We never share a child's name, photo, characters, or content with any advertising platform
• ✓We do not track, profile, or advertise to children, and no advertising of any kind appears inside the product a child sees
• ✓Standard analytics (page performance and error monitoring) help us keep the site fast and working

We use a small set of service providers, each only for its stated purpose:

• ✓Payment processing (Stripe) — handles all payments; we never store card numbers
• ✓Cloud hosting & content delivery — stores and streams your family's generated content securely
• ✓AI generation services — process the uploaded photo and our prompts to produce cartoon artwork, video, voice and music. Providers are contractually restricted to processing on our behalf and are not permitted to use your child's photo to train their models
• ✓Email delivery — sends the account and “your video is ready” emails you request
• ✓Advertising measurement (Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Google) — parent-facing marketing pages only, as described in Section 8

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your child's information to anyone. Ever.

We maintain a written information-security program that includes:

• ✓Encrypted transmission of all data (SSL/TLS)
• ✓Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on accounts
• ✓Secure cloud infrastructure with restricted, role-based internal access
• ✓Immediate, automated deletion of original photos after processing

• ✓All videos, songs, and artwork are AI-generated and stylized — a cartoon interpretation, not an exact replica of your child
• ✓Minor variations in appearance or animation between videos are a normal part of AI-generated content
• ✓Any child images or videos shown on our website, ads, or demos are AI-generated or created using licensed assets — never real customer children

We never share your content. You may choose to share your child's videos yourself — by text, social media, or download. Once you share content outside our platform, we cannot control how others use it, so share thoughtfully.

We are committed to complying with the privacy laws that protect children and families, including:

• ✓The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and its amended Rule (COPPA, 16 CFR Part 312)
• ✓State biometric-privacy laws (we do not create or possess biometric identifiers, as described in Section 3)
• ✓The EU General Data Protection Regulation and UK GDPR, including the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code, where applicable
• ✓California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA)

If you believe we have collected information from a child in a way this statement doesn't describe, contact us immediately and we will investigate and delete it.

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. If we make a material change to how we collect or use children's information, we will notify account holders by email and obtain fresh consent where the law requires it.
